Vondeling ‘Shiraz & Venison Winemakers Dinner’ with The Goose Roasters
Enjoy the perfect Shiraz & Venison winter dinner, presented by Vondeling’s Senior Winemaker, Matthew Copeland, and the chefs from The Goose Roasters, Craig Cormack and Beau du Toit. For one night only, Matthew and the chef-duo will present a vertical tasting comprising a variety of very limited Shiraz styles and vintages from the Vondeling wine library, paired with venison canapés and followed by a gastronomic three-course wine dinner. Seats are limited to 40 people to ensure an intimate dining experience in which the winemaker and chefs collaborate to bring you the ultimate winter feast in front of a roaring fireplace. Vondeling Baldrick Shiraz Wins Gold at the 3rd China Wine Awards
The 3rd annual China Wine Awards took place earlier this year and Vondeling is proud to announce the the 2011 Baldrick Shiraz was awarded a gold medal.
Around 100 judges from the within the Chinese trade and drinks business judged over 1000 entries from 35 different countries. New world wines dominated the awards with Australian wines picking up the majority of the gold medals. Portugal managed the second highest number of golds with 45, follwed by South Africa and Italy with 37 each.
